Inspection 2000
Software
Menu Items Provide a
Visual Checklist
The software displays a check mark on the
Main Menu by each item inspected as you proceed through the inspection.
This serves as a visual checklist or a reminder as to an area you may have
overlooked as well as displaying your progress through the
inspection.
This function helps to reduce any confusion
during the inspection. You can look at the Main Menu, see a check mark by an
item and you will be able to tell at a glance that the item has already been
inspected and will be included in the report. Conversely any item without
a check mark on the Main Menu indicates that the item has not inspected and will
not be included on the inspection report.
An example of this is a house has a
basement. The Main Menu allows for either a basement, crawl space, a
slab, or any combination. By selecting Basement on the Main Menu,
performing the inspection of the basement, and returning to the Main Menu,
Basement will have a check mark. The Crawl Space remains unchecked.
The basement will be reported and any mention of a crawl space will not appear
on your final report. The menu therefore acts as a visual checklist as you
conduct your inspection. You don't have to fumble through forms on a
clipboard. Simply look at the Main Menu and at glance you have your
checklist.
